Intermolecular Force Definition in Chemistry

The intermolecular force is the sum of all the forces between two neighboring molecules. The forces result from the actions of the kinetic energy of atoms and the slight positive and negative electrical charges on different parts of a molecule that affect its neighbors and any solute that may be present. The three main categories of intermolecular forces are London dispersion forces, dipole-dipole interaction, and ion-dipole interaction. Hydrogen bonding is considered a form of dipole-dipole interaction, and so contributes to the net intermolecular force. In contrast, intramolecular force is the sum of the forces that act within a molecule between its atoms. The intermolecular force is measured indirectly using measurements of various properties, including volume, temperature, pressure, and viscosity.

John Ames holds the ironic role of moral leader and recluse, which leaves him alienated from the people who respect him. His isolation is a byproduct of his independence; an independence that distances him from those he loves: Jack Boughton and his son. This implies that the joke transgresses the moral code that John Ames represents because it verbally stops when the townsfolk are confronted with the presence of the moral code. It reveals that he holds the role as an outsider from the lives of the townspeople who view him as a moral compass, who may not appreciate the joke. Furthermore, the phrase â€Å"of course† colloquially means that what happened or will happen is natural and to be expected. Being on the streets of Tehran had a large impact on Marjane, causing her to grow up too soon. To conclude, Marjane Satrapi had a hard childhood filled with war, politics, and a lot of maturing. Because of the settings of her bedroom, living room, and the streets of Tehran, Marjane lost her innocence and gained a more realistic view of the war. Even though Marjane was once an innocent little girl, the war and the political hardship her country was facing changed that in only a few years.
